Making an advance reservation for a special puppy is an exciting time for new owners, and we share your enthusiasm and excitement along with information that will help you prepare to bring a puppy into your home. We welcome you to visit our home, and see the adults that are expecting or who we plan to have litters with.

We accept deposits for companion adoption in the order in which we receive them, and after we have had the opportunity to review information submitted by the individual or family (see adoption questionnaire) wishing to adopt.    The deposit is $250 for a CBWags4u Dachsies Companion Pet Miniature Dachshund, and the deposit is applied to the total fee.  Both Male and Female Puppies are $600 and applies the same fee applies to all coats, patterns, and colors.  You are provided a receipt for deposit.  The contract to spay or neuter is completed at the time you pick up your puppy.

Our ethical conduct as a respected breeder in the AKC community means that all of our litters our registered, recorded, and we are inspected on a regular basis to ensure compliance with AKC guidelines.   

The deposit is $350 for a Potential Show Miniature Dachshund which is applied to the total fee ranging between $950 - $1400 for AKC Full Registration.  Please contact us to discuss the special requirements that we impose with this special offering - which includes that there will be a earnest attempt to put the Miniature Dachshund in AKC Conformation events.  The agreement has specific restrictions about breeding your Dachshund.  We believe that showing your dog is a fun sport for individuals and families - to make it affordable to everyone we offer a reduced fee with co-ownership for those interested in putting a CBWags4u Dachsie into AKC Conformation Events. When each of the litters are born - we send out an email notification, and try to maintain an open dialog about your future puppy.  We also notify individuals seeking a show quality puppy, but all show potential pups are put in a hold status until they reach the age of eight weeks which is when we feel their potential can be evaluated.  We provide our full registrations with a written evaluation of their show potential puppy.

We prefer not to release our puppies until they are 9 weeks of age and we will not ship a puppy until it is at least 10 weeks of age. Shipping restrictions depending on climate conditions must be understood by the new owner - the temperature must be less than 85 degrees for the safety of your animal.  Another option with less temperature restrictions is that customers make a flight in and pick up your dachshund puppy - ticketing your puppy can be a reasonable fee - approximately $150, and you are able to start the new parent bonding attachment process with your new addition during this transition. 

 In all cases the entire fee must be paid in full 10 days prior to shipping a puppy, and at the present time the shipping fee is approximately $350 - we charge the actual price for airline ticket for the puppy to fly, crate, health certificate/vet examination.

We will keep you updated with regular pictures for your scrapbook from birth to the time you receive your puppy - the photos include candid shots of your puppy playing or interacting with us here - we do not believe that you want "stacked" or show poses of your companion but true to life photos which are often times are priceless treasures!  We do provide the show stack photos to those individuals purchasing a full registration puppy along with their evaluation at eight weeks of age.  

  Should the puppy you desire not be born in the original requested litter - your deposit is then held over to the next litter, and so forth until the selection process is complete. 

We believe in the lines that we breed, and being available for you through the lifetime of your pet!  We do not provide cash refunds for deposits received, and with our screening process to fit your expectations and ours - the results are having a wonderful companion find a new home.  We are happy to provide you with written documentation for your deposit, and our contract for purchase.  We feel that our policy is one that places respect in the decision to add a new four legged family member to your household.

One more important bit of information regarding the expecting list or Puppy Page information - Please note that when we have our kennel name by a puppy it is our right to reserve a puppy from any litter - we often times release our first choice to another person's request if we are able to repeat the pairing to produce another litter.
