Our Planned Litters

We welcome you to visit our home, and see the adults that are expecting or plan to have litters.  Making an advance reservation for a special puppy is an exciting time for new owners, and we share your enthusiasm and excitement along with information that you will help you prepare to bring a puppy home. 

We will accept deposits for companion adoption in the order in which we receive them, and after we have had the opportunity to review information about the adopting family (see adoption questionnaire).

  The deposit of $300 is for a companion, and is approximately half of the adoption fee - the remaining balance is due at the time arranged to pick up or ship the puppy, and all shipping/transportation fees must be paid 10 days in advance to the date of shipping.

The deposit is $500 for a potential show Miniature Dachshund - to own outright the total fee for full registration may vary from $800 to $1400, and will have special requirements in the contract to include that there will be a earnest attempt to put the Miniature Dachshund in AKC Conformation events.   We are now offering exclusive partnerships or co-ownership opportunities with potential show homes - the arrangements for partnership or co-ownership is addressed  in writing with each prospective owner, the fee is reduced for these agreements - for the reduced fee the contract signed must be specifically followed including showing, breeding, and placement of puppies. 

When each of the litters are born - we will notify you that your choice companion puppy is on reserve for you.  We also notify individuals seeking a show quality puppy, but any show potential pups are put in a hold status until they reach the age of eight weeks which is when we feel their potential can be evaluated - we provide pictures, and a written evaluation with our show potential puppies to their new owners or co-owners. 

We prefer not to release our puppies until they are 9 - 10 weeks of age and we will not ship a puppy until it is 12 weeks of age. 

We will keep you updated with regular pictures for your scrapbook from birth to the time you receive your puppy - the photos include candid shots of your puppy playing or interacting with us here - we do not believe that you want "stacked" or show poses but true to life photos which often times are priceless treasures!  We do provide the show stack photos to those individuals purchasing a full registration puppy along with their evaluation at eight weeks of age.  

  Should the puppy you desire not be born in the original requested litter - your deposit is then held over to the next litter, and so forth until the selection process is complete. 

We believe in customer satisfaction, and being available for you through the lifetime of your pet - we do not provide cash refunds for deposits received, but will provide you with written documentation that you have a deposit balance on account here for a future puppy selection!  We feel that this policy is one that places respect in the decision to add a new family member to your household.

One more important bit of information regarding the expecting list or Puppy Page information - Please note that when we have our kennel name by a puppy it is our right to reserve a puppy from any litter - we often times release our first choice to another person's request if we are able to repeat the pairing to produce another litter.
